X-board® <PXA> miniKit

The X-board® <PXA> module has what it takes, reduced to the maX - Based on the Intel® PXA255 application processor. The X-board® <PXA> miniKit is designed to give you a head start.

In the Starterkit you will find a X-board® <PXA> module with a fully licensed WinCE version as well as a demo application preinstalled on the onboard flash, the X-board® miniBaseboard, with all the necessary connectivity to provide an easy access to the X-board® miniBaseboard, QVGA Display including touch and a switchable (115V-/230V) power supply. On the accompanying CD-ROM you will find all the necessary miniKit documentation; WinCE BSP (Linux in preparation).

The heart of the X-board® <PXA> miniKit is the Xboard® <PXA>, which is designed for low power consumption from the beginning. The X-board® <PXA> module does not require a cooling device. Despite the compact size of a business card it offers all the modern interfaces applications of tomorrow need, such as integrated Graphics (LCD), Ethernet, USB and AC'97 output to be used for audio implementation.

The X-board® miniBaseboard is designed to allow embedded application developers to get up and running quickly on the X-board® modular platform, giving them a head start on the total system design. The X-board® miniBaseboard is reduced in its size and offers a huge variety of interfaces. This ready to use baseboard is a flexible design platform for space limited applications. With a complete array of connectors brought out on this compact baseboard via cabled connectors or addressable as expansions ports via SO-DIMM socket, it serves as a reference design for other more customized variations.
