ThinkIO

The ThinkIO family combines latest PC technology with a most flexible IO system in a compact industrial design. The IEC61131-3 software and support of different operating systems facilitate the ThinkIO to be used as an open control system either as SoftPLC or Industrial PC (IPC).

The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750

The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 is the smallest, modularized, fieldbus independent, input/output system for decentralized automation.

It makes it possible to integrate cost and space saving fieldbus nodes using application specific, intermixable, digital, analog, and complexer input/output modules.

IEC 61131-3

 

 

CoDeSys (short for Controller Development System) is a programming tool for industrial controllers and PLC components based on the international standard IEC 61131-3. A sophisticated functionality and structure as well as an easy handling have turned CoDeSys into the number one programming tool for automation on the European market.

Overview


The CoDeSys package consists of four parts:

  • editors for the development of controller application code
  • integrated compilers for generating native application code for the controller
  • numerous diagnostic and commissioning functions.
  • Target Visualization which can be directly run on the ThinkIO.

The runtime environment of the Program Organisation Units (POUs) is configured in special editors:

Task Configuration

  • supports free running, cyclic and event-triggered tasks

  • Profibus configuration based on GSD files

CoDeSys supports all five languages


CoDeSys supports all five languages of the IEC 61131-3. In addition, CoDeSys offers a sixth editor, which is a variation of the Function Block Diagram called Continuous Function Chart:

  • Instruction List (IL)
  • Function Block Diagram (FBD)
  • Ladder Diagram (LD)
  • Structured Text (ST)

Sequential Function Chart (SFC)

  • Time monitoring with minimum and maximum time per step
  • Error analysis, which delivers the incorrect iinput or variable
  • Various control flags: reset, enable time monitoring, force transition etc.

Continuous Function Chart (CFC)

  • Auto routing of the connections
  • Macro option for structuring large diagrams.
